Yolanda Hernandez, 75, of Brockton, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family. She was born on October 9, 1950, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to the late Gonzalo and Rosa Hernandez.
Yolanda was a woman of quiet resilience and remarkable talent. As a skilled seamstress, she dedicated many years to her craft, creating beautiful garments with care and precision. Her work reflected her patience, creativity, and strong work ethic—qualities that defined her life.
Above all, Yolanda cherished her family. She was the beloved mother of Oscar, Hector, Yara and Alba Sabillon, and the proud and devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She was predeceased by her loving husband, David Sabillon, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering partnership.
Yolanda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the deep love she held for those around her. Her home was always a place of warmth, comfort, and togetherness.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Due to impending weather, the funeral service will be held on Monday at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
Yolanda’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
