Carlos S. Jamssens, age 50, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away on April 20, 2026.
Born on February 10, 1976, in Luanda, Angola, he was the beloved son of the late Carlos B. Jamssens and his devoted mother, Manuela R. Jamssens.
Carlos built his life around hard work, determination, and care for those he loved. As a self-employed construction professional, he took pride in his craft and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Beyond his work, Carlos will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm spirit, and deep commitment to his family.
He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Carlene Jamssens, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving mother, Manuela R. Jamssens; his siblings, Joao Jamssens, Aderito Jamssens, Elvira Caldeira, Wilson Jamssens, and William Jamssens; as well as several nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him profoundly.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Carlos’s life during visiting hours on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. A funeral service will follow from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will take place immediately after at Calvary Cemetery, 163 N Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Carlos’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to family will never be forgotten.
